22 Austin Barbell Athletes and 5 Coaches faced off, ABB North vs. ABB South. Yesterday at the OG Open Austin Barbell went to war with itself and we loved every second of it.

Two locations. One team. A whole lot of barbells and a little friendly trash talk.

At the end of the day, the medals got sorted out, the scores got settled, with South taking the win this time! The North remembers! 😤

The win is nice but what really stood out yesterday was how everyone was there for each other. That’s what this sport is. That’s what this club is.

Proud of every single one of you. 🖤

Allie Nichols put on a show at the Arnold Classic for Virus Series 1 in Columbus.
As a 17-year-old in the Junior W69 class, she went 6/6 and totaled 172kg:
Sn**ch: 70 / 73 / 75
Clean & Jerk: 91 / 94 / 97
Two lifetime PRs.
New class. Big stage. Handled it like a pro.
This was our 13th meet together over the last 3 years, and somehow our first Arnold Classic together. That makes this one mean a little more.
What stood out most wasn’t just the result. It was the composure, the trust, and the way Allie carried herself on one of the biggest platforms in the sport. No wasted motion. No drama. Just good lifting.

Junior Nationals in Colorado Springs: 10.2 weeks out.
Proud of you, Allie. This is only the start.
