I woke up last Monday and knew I didn't have it.

Not sick.

Not lazy.

Just empty in a way that pushing through wouldn't fix.

So I cancelled everything.

Rescheduled every meeting. Turned the day over to myself. And spent it doing the things that actually refill what gets spent.

Because here's what I've learned from my own body breaking down, from sitting with clients who ran too long on empty, from years of studying what actually sustains high performance: You are not a machine. You are a fire.
And fires that aren't tended don't burn forever. They just burn out.

Tending the fire isn't weakness. It isn't falling behind. It isn't a luxury reserved for people with less on their plate than you.

It's the work. The unglamorous, non-negotiable work of staying in the game long enough to actually win it.

Calm body. Clear mind. Strong life.
