We had a great day meeting a fellow scout leader and diver! We worked on basic skills since Mark Jefferson Lawrence wanted to get updated for not being in the water in a while. Our founder for those that might not know is an Eagle scout like Mark with so many mutual friends. We were really surprised to find out that Mark was the Navy model in this poster as well as a fellow Eagle scout Chris Byrd!

Megan and Stu worked on some full face mask skills as well. Awesome day and great stories over dinner.

We finished our altitude diver class last night. We have four new divers ready to plan dives at high elevation now!

The purpose of the SDI Altitude Diver Course is to acquaint a diver with the necessary procedures and knowledge to dive safely at altitudes at least 300 metres/1000 feet above sea level.
