We wanted to give a huge congratulations to NQB athletes Kristin Weeks and Taylor Babb.
Kristin, the original OG of NQB, competed and won her third straight TN State Championship for 71kg Masters women. Kristin came back from a knee injury and did awesome! Kristin is an amazing example of strength and fortitude because she could do all this with our original gym closing and moving locations. Kristin has her sights set on competing nationally, and we look forward to her achieving that goal!!
Taylor is new to NQB, but has been a force in the Olympic Weightlifting and Crossfit communities for years. Taylor picked back up full-time weightlifting in January of this year and, through her incredible work ethic, was able to compete at the TN Stake Championships. Taylor won the 64kg women's open division, becoming State Champion again and the top women's lifter for the day, and a couple of new TN State records! Taylor's lifting total for the comp qualified her to compete at the 2023 Nike Senior Nationals & Under 23 National Championships at the end of June in Colorado Springs.
