“Compact footprint. Full range freedom.” Major Fitness
What makes the EVO version really interesting is the Freedom Connector system. Since the cables normally run on a 2:1 ratio, the Freedom Connector lets you combine both flex arms together so you can use the FULL weight of the stack during movements instead of splitting the resistance. That’s honestly a huge feature for stronger lifters or anyone wanting heavier cable work without needing a giant standalone functional trainer.
With movements like cable flys, presses, and functional work, the flex arms also help extend your range of motion while helping save space in the garage gym. Normally you’d need to step way out in front of the machine to get the same stretch, but the EVO design helps keep everything tighter and more efficient without sacrificing movement quality.
At only around 82.5” tall, this thing is honestly impressive for lower ceilings too. Even at 6 feet tall, I can still get a really solid stretch with the flex arms at the top which is something many compact setups struggle with.
The bearing-supported system makes the cables feel smooth, the frame feels solid, and the overall setup feels really refined for an all-in-one machine.
You’re getting a smith machine, functional trainer, power rack, pull-up station, adjustable cable system, storage, upgraded flex arms, the Freedom Connector setup, and a TON of exercise variety all packed into one footprint.
Now if you care a ton about 3x3 modularity and endlessly building out attachments, there are definitely other routes people may prefer. But if you want something loaded with features that works well in compact spaces and lower ceilings, this is absolutely one worth checking out too.
