The Rincon is now up on the website. We hope to have pictures of the Blue and Pink soon.

We now have all sizes (4-12) in the Rincon Black & Grey. We have a limited availability in the Blue and the Pink versions, but should have them by the end of the month. This is a skate that will create skaters! They can have their own rink skates without killing the parent's wallet (MSRP $99.99), and kids with skates go skating more often.

Did you know Sure-Grip's making it possible to still get a great pair of rink skates for under $100. Their all-new Rincon skate from "California Skate Company" will be available to ship next week in the black/gray and a few sizes in the blue and pink. We should have all colors available at the end of the month. They feature a 64.75mm grooved rink wheel. Sizes: Bk/Gr (4-12), Blue (4-10), Pink (4-10).

The All American Plus wheel was originally sold under the "Vanguard" brand, and sold by a man named Johnny Matejec. Johnny was a World Champion skater and rink owner; he also probably sold more skate wheels than any person that ever lived (remember Red Devils & White Lightnings). With the advent of urethane, the All American Plus went through a period of being a urethane wheel during the 1990's and 2000's. About 10-15 year's ago, Sure Grip took on the the All American Plus wheel and returned it to its Vanathane glory. It's a firm wheel, that offers a great roll, and it offers just a little more grip than its FoMac cousins.

Yes, any skate can be taken outdoors. We sent this ERA skate with Aerobic wheels to a rink in Arkansas this week, so be on the lookout for them if you're out on the trails.

We will admit that not every skate sold is a pretty. However, there's a skater in Florida that's going to be skating on these Bettys this weekend.

Most kids are first introduced to skating by attending a birthday party at a roller rink. Do everything you can to make each child beg their mom to bring them back. Show them a good time and maybe even give them a pass for a free skate lesson. Create a skater and create a lifelong customer. Also, maybe purchase some good-looking and great-priced party supplies with us. Sold by the 1,000.

Cool picture of an old Soviet Bloc McDonald's.
Wait, my bad, that's a brand-new McDonald's here in the good-ole' United States. What kid nowadays is going to get excited going to McDonald's? Please don't ever let your rink look as dull and boring as McDonald's has become.
