Forest City Sport Dogs Your home for all things UpDog in the metro Atlanta area. We aim to host fun, welcoming, and engaging events for both seasoned and new disc doggers alike!

Looking to get started in disc? Want us to come host an event at your field? Go ahead and make a discussion post or DM Rowe Galt! Please note that any UpDog event request must be made 3+ months in advance in order to have time to organize, submit the event to UpDog for approval, and coordinate with our team. Hiring Rowe as a Head Judge is a different process and you must message him privately for more information or email [email protected] to inquire. FCSD is an inclusive and inviting group for people of all ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and religious beliefs. We all want to play dog sports and enjoy our time together without the fear of disrespect, hateful words/actions, or bullying. We have a zero-tolerance policy for these kinds of situations. Happy August!

We are staying safe inside from the summer heat but that doesn't mean we are lounging around. We have lots of plans for 2027 but don't forget to sign up for our 2026 events still left!

In the meantime, if you have yet to get any FCSD shirts or hats, the host website is running a 20% off promotion right now! Everything on the page is basically at cost of what the printing company charges, so this will be the best price you can get to order some sweet swag!

We hope everyone's summer is off to a great start! The FCSD team is playing it safe inside with our AC and laying the groundwork for more disc-doggin' fun in 2027!

That being said and because we clearly don't have enough to do, would there be any interest for a local Toss & Fetch League? This would be either for the Fall or Winter seasons. West side of Atlanta/South Atlanta/possibly in Newnan. We are still trying to find a good field option that would be open to us for every weekend the whole season, so if you know of a dog-friendly and affordable (or free!) field option, please let us know! Sunday afternoons/evenings would be the time frame.

It was a hot day and we got throuh our Crossover Crrown efficiently in time to beta test FAST Lane! It was fun to see everyone work through a new game and many players were able to complete the game successfully. We had scores ranging from 15 all the way up into the 60's with room for improvement! If anyone has comments or suggestions, feel free to comment them below.

As always, if you see your name above for a Personal Best and did not receive one at the field (I saw some I know I missed), make note of it and remind someone at the sound tent to make one for you then.

We will be taking our annual summer break to avoid the heat, but we will have two more events this fall, so mark your calendars and sign up!
