🥋 Student Spotlight: Kolton Hammond 🥋

We are incredibly proud to recognize Kolton Hammond for earning his 2nd Degree Black Belt on May 16th!

This achievement is especially meaningful because Kolton has made CMAC history. He is the first student at our Castro's Martial Arts Center location (Master Castro's first multi-discipline location) to start as a White Belt, earn his Black Belt, and continue on to earn his 2nd Degree Black Belt.

Since opening our first CMAC Location Kolton has been a shining example of what dedication, perseverance, and consistency can accomplish. He has spent years developing not only his martial arts skills, but also the discipline, character, and leadership that define a true black belt.

Achievements like this don't happen overnight. They are built through countless classes, challenges, successes, setbacks, and the determination to keep moving forward. Kolton's journey is an inspiration to every student who walks through our doors and a reminder that hard work truly pays off.

Congratulations, Kolton! We are honored to be part of your martial arts journey and look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the years ahead.

$199 per person (includes Testing Fee, Belt, and certificate)

3-day training course finishing with belt graduation

-All 3 days are mandatory for graduation

-Black belt testing can NOT be substituted for this course

-1st degrees and above can use this as a midterm or to take 2 months off time requirement

-Lunch is not included

Friday - 4pm-8pm

Saturday & Sunday - 9am-4pm (lunch 12pm-1pm)

Starting martial arts is never easy. It takes courage to step onto the mat for the very first time, and we are proud of each and every student who has taken that first step in their journey with us.

We are excited to watch these 2 students grow in confidence, discipline, strength, and skill as they continue their training here at CMAC. The white belt is where every black belt begins, and this is only the start of an incredible journey ahead. 👊

🌟 Family Highlight 🌟

This week we want to recognize Todd and Lucy, one of our amazing father-daughter duos in our P3 Kali program! 👊

Since joining CMAC in January 2026, they have become an incredible part of our school family. Lucy not only trains in P3 Kali alongside her dad, but she also works hard in our Tactical Self-Defense program as well.

One of the things we value most at CMAC is seeing families train together. Martial arts is about much more than learning techniques — it’s about building confidence, trust, discipline, and memories that last a lifetime. Watching parents and children encourage each other, grow together, and step outside their comfort zones side by side is something truly special.

Todd and Lucy are a perfect example of what makes our CMAC Family so strong, and we are proud to have them training with us! 🔥

This is Quin (left) and TJ Hawkins (right), our newest Muay Thai father-son duo!

Quin has been training with us for nearly 2 years, while his dad proudly supported him from the sidelines. About a month ago, TJ decided it was time to jump in and train alongside his son — and we couldn’t be happier to have them both on the mats together.

One of our favorite things to see at CMAC is families training together. The memories, growth, and bonds built through hard work and shared experiences are something that will last a lifetime.

We are proud to have Quin and TJ as part of our CMAC Family and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow together! 👊

Jackson represents what dedication to Muay Thai truly looks like. He shows up consistently, puts in the work, and approaches every class with focus and discipline. His growth is a direct reflection of his commitment and attitude.

This course is designed to elevate your Fight IQ, improve speed and timing, and help you understand the when, why, and how to apply techniques in live sparring.
