Gold Bracket Tournament Champs 🏆

As they’ve gotten older and into school sports you don’t get as much time together as we used to but they have made the most of their time together & are working well as a team. They are a team that truly
plays for each other. Never count them out.

Our pitchers had a great outing for their first tournament. We are proud of their hard work yesterday in the heat. Maddie pitched a no hitter in the championship game 👏

Each girl contributed immensely yesterday, doing their job, and enjoyed getting to be back on a field playing softball together. It is going to be a fun season.

🏆 2026 USSSA Alabama All-State Nominees! 🏆

What an incredible honor for our girls! 💙🥎

Because of the success of our team in their first year of 12u and our State Championship win, each one of our girls was nominated this summer as a 2026 USSSA Alabama All-State Player!

This nomination was about so much more than what happens on the dirt. It recognizes the girls’ achievements, dedication, work ethic, attitude, sportsmanship, and the impact they have as teammates throughout the season. Every single one of these girls earned this recognition, and we could not be more proud of them!

We are especially excited that Hadley was able to attend and participate in the 2026 Alabama All-State Presentation and All-State Games earlier this month! Thank you for representing our team well.

Even more exciting, players who participated in their state All-State event became eligible to attend the National All-State Games at the Space Coast Complex in Vero Beach, Florida this December! 🌴

From winning a State Championship to being recognized as All-State Nominees, what an incredible season for our group of girls!

We are so proud of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM and the players, teammates, and young women they are becoming. 💙

Two of our own spent their summer competing in volleyball together and their team won the Athens City 13U Championship out of 21 teams.

They were 2 of 14 girls selected for All Stars by the coaches in their age group out of 170 girls! They set a great example to their volleyball team with their effort, teamwork, & leadership. Congratulations to Abi & Harper for a successful volleyball season.

We love to see our players have success outside of just softball. Each of our girls are becoming women who lead. The lessons they learn through softball: commitment, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and perseverance follow them far beyond the ball field.

Our goal isn’t just to develop great softball players. It’s to help develop strong, confident young women who are prepared to lead wherever life takes them.

Softball is just one chapter. The character they build along the way will last a lifetime. 💙🥎

📚 ✏️ Back to school means new classrooms,new goals, new opportunities, & softball is back!

We are so proud of our Southern Vortex girls as they head into a new school year. We know they'll work just as hard in the classroom as they do on the softball field.
