Our summer athletes continue to put in incredible work, and it's been rewarding to watch their growth, not just physically, but mentally. 👊
This summer we've emphasized more than just getting stronger and faster. We've been teaching athletes how to become more resilient competitors by helping them understand:
👉How to train through appropriate discomfort. Improvement requires hard work, and learning to embrace challenging workouts is part of becoming a better athlete.
👉The difference between discomfort and injury. Sore muscles, heavy breathing, and fatigue are often signs of productive training. Sharp pain, instability, or movements that don't feel right deserve attention. Knowing the difference is an important skill every athlete should develop.
👉How to fuel for performance. We've talked about the importance of eating enough, prioritizing protein and carbohydrates, staying hydrated, and recognizing that recovery starts with proper nutrition, not just after practice, but throughout the day.
Our goal is to help athletes build habits that will serve them well long after their season ends. We're proud of the discipline, coachability, and confidence we've seen develop throughout the summer. 👏
Thank you to all of the parents who trust us with your athletes. It's a privilege to be part of their journey. ✨️🦅
