Grass Fed/Finished Beef Wahoo Locker Oct 30th:

We have 4 beef going into Wahoo on October 30th. There are 3 tiers on the pricing:

$4.50/lb HW:
• Two cows -> 1/4 still available
• These two cows have been eating for themselves for 10 months, full briskets and fat on the tail head
• Large framed animals, expect high lb HW
• I’m expecting similar marbling as picture attached.
• Grassfed/finished, fat will have yellow hue (olive oil vs butter)

REDUCED $3.20/lb HW:
• One cow -> 4/4 still available
• Did not breed back
• Smaller framed September LW 962lb

$3.00/lb HW:

WHO NEEDS PORK?!?!?!?

We have 8 IPPs (Idaho Pasture Pigs) going into Wahoo Locker to be processed on October 14th. 7/8 are sold and there is only one left. They were raised in the woods and were fed corn from my neighbor, alfalfa pellets, mineral, acorns, and whatever else they found out there. IPPs are a 3-way cross between a lard breed and two meat breeds, make for very marbled and juicy pork.

The pigs are roughly 260lb live weight, and should process out to around 130lb take home. Looking for $4.00 hanging weight.

Rate my brooder! 50 cornish cross inbound from Welp Hachery.

I’m going to get two smaller waterers for when they are chicks 🐣, ambient temperature when they arrive should be mid-to-upper 70s….

2/3 of the way through calving season. This one is ready to pop.

Another round of IPP feeders from 15 County Farms. Last year's tasted amazing. This year we ran them in the oaks to finish on acorns in the fall, and trying out an Osborne feeder with some self-ground feed.
