Scary strong! A day of no tricks, just treats with PR bells from a couple of fitness bangers.
Squat your 1RM and then hit a 5K!
No hocus-pocus or or concoctions from a cauldron. This was the result of some good old-fashioned hard work!

What are you training for 20 years from now?

We’ve been talking in class about building capacity: strength, endurance, and the ability to keep doing the things we love.

Training today is an investment in that future. In its simplest form, benchmark WOD scores, like “Fran”show what we can do. When we do it again, our score alone can tell us if we’re heading in the right direction.
Health markers help us understand how our bodies are doing. They require but more in depth look, but don’t always give us all the info we need.
Both deserve attention.

Think hiking, carrying groceries, playing with grandkids, and living independently. That’s capacity worth building.

This weekend was packed full of Fitness not just on the creek, but plenty of it off!

The annual Annapolis 10 miler took some of our regular CrossFitter’s for a nice jaunt around.

Luis and Ed teamed up for a CrossFit competition with a day loaded up with some challenging workouts.
Even honorary Creek Person, Laura and her teammate made some noise in the competition as well.

And right here at home, after a grueling, weightlifting cycle on Sunday mornings, our athletes put their sn**ch and clean & jerk to the test!
