Studio Zen is a non-denominational space welcoming people of all beliefs and backgrounds. While we don’t identify with any particular religion, we believe in community, generosity, and coming together for a good cause!

So... we're excited to participate in Nights of Lights, a fundraiser for our BEAUTIFUL Mounds State Park!

We’re looking for artificial Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes to bring our campsite to life! (And white Christmas lights would be a bonus)

If you have a tree you’re no longer using, we’d love to use it for a little holiday magic!

Together, we can spread some light and support a place that gives SO much to our community!

Please message Studio Zen if you’d like to donate a tree, and drive through the park Nov 27-Dec 27 to see 60 campsites lit up for an excellent cause!

Zennie has officially returned from vacation!

After 4½ years of transforming an old jail into our home and Studio Zen, a little hiatus was long overdue!

Zennie hit the road, traveling west along historic Route 66, exploring the beauty and sacred landscapes of Navajo Nation, and eventually trading desert sunsets for the turquoise waters of the Cayman Islands.

And somewhere along the way, he found himself hanging out with a whole family of Helen and Stanley Ropers!

We slowed down. We explored. We laughed. We rested. We recharged. And somewhere between the desert and the sea, we were reminded of something we share so often at Studio Zen:

Rest isn’t a reward for the work. It’s part of the work.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we operated on modified hours throughout October.

November brings new hours, renewed energy, and a very well-rested Zennie!

We’re coming home with full hearts, fresh inspiration, and plenty of Zen to share.

Four years ago, Chuck and I took our students on a field trip through downtown Anderson to see firsthand the growth, possibility, and people investing in our community.

One of our stops was Buckskin Bikes, where owner Ben shared why he chose Anderson as the place to build his business.

How lucky are we to have a place as cool as Buckskin Bikes right here in downtown Anderson?!!

Even if you’re not in the market for a bike, this place is worth a visit! They have the coolest T-shirts and stickers, and the transformation of the old building is definitely worth seeing.
