Good Morning!
We are so pleased that Jessica will be joining us twice a month to offer Self Love Sunday starting this September.

Classes will continue to start with our sharing circle time, this is time to make a new friend, connect with an old one, do a little doodle, maybe pull a card, journal or whatever you feel called to do. Following the share circle time, there is some type of body kind connection time offered-
The 2nd Sunday of the month Jessica will offer a guided meditation.
The 4th Sunday of the month she will be introducing a new type of movement we are calling "Emotions in Motion" this is a movement based meditation.

Nikki will also be joining us this September to offer Buti.

I was hoping to have one more option starting in September but we are still ironing out the details.

As always SLS is 100% donation based, all donations are put back into the community.

If you're curious how your dollars have been spent, here are a few places we've sent those funds - mens recovery home in Anderson, directly to a family battling cancer, to provide dinner for displaced flood families, newspapers in education.

Another week to move with us!

Reminder- this is your last week to practice with Alissa before she's out until mid October.

There will be no market yoga this Saturday (8/29).

We will have some new opportunities to support our community for September but some details are still in progress so I will resist my excitement and hold off for another week before posting!

Hello
We are getting back to our regularly scheduled programming. We were fortunate that our basement studio did not have any flooding last week. We are very grateful instead of being in survival mode we have been able to be of use.

We have a few things upcoming to share.

This week we have our usual classes on the schedule, except 8/22 there will be no market yoga. The Farmers market will be located at the Anderson Gaslight Festival. I specifically will be taking the morning to participate in the pie baking contest at Ruby's. 🥧🤤

You have 2 more opportunities to connect with Alissa before the end of this month (8/22 and 8/29). After that she will be off for at least 6 weeks.
Keep an eye on the schedule, I will be covering as many of her classes as possible as I know this group likes to stay consistent in their practice (or they just really really love Alissa 😂) there might be a few weeks that I can't make it happen but I'm hoping we can stick together until she is able to come back to us.

We are cancelling class again tonight out of an abundance of caution. I don't want anyone driving around and adding chaos to already chaotic times or getting swept away. There's a two page long list of people being evacuated from their homes already and it's supposed to start raining again this evening.

If you've suddenly found your evening free, check on your people, find people that need something and do that something.

If you don't know what to do, look on community pages and figure out who needs what resources.

If youve suddenly found yourself without a dry place to stay for the night. Holler.
