Congrats to our Athlete of the Week, Daphne!💗🤸‍♀️

Daphne is in Lil Ninjas! She was nominated by Coach Noah & Coach Katy because she listens very well to instructions & she is a great friend to her teammates! Daphne has been working so hard to improve by listening to corrections and being brave! Keep up the great work, Daphne!🤩

Daphne’s favorite event is jumping in the pit, and her gymnastics goal is to do the monkey bars all by herself!💪

Congratulations and big shout out to our level 6 gymnast Madison Star!

What problem can we solve? That question sparked incredible creativity for Ames Middle School students competing in the 2026 Iowa Invention Convention State Finals!

From stress-relief tools and running analysis apps to attachable clothing pockets and a better recovery cone for pets, AMS students turned real-world problems into innovative solutions. One Ames student team will even represent Iowa at the RTX Invention Convention U.S. Nationals this summer!

We are proud of these students for their creativity, perseverance, collaboration, and problem-solving skills — and grateful to teacher Carisa Danielson for helping guide their ideas from concept to competition.

Congrats to our Athlete of the Week, Isabella!💗🤸‍♀️

Isabella is in SUCCESS 2! She was nominated by Coach Emma S. because she always comes to practice with a great attitude and ready to work! Isabella recently got her back hip circle without spot and is so excited to do it consistently on her own! Isabella is also an awesome teammate! Keep up the great work, Isabella!🤩

Isabella’s favorite event is bars, and her gymnastics goal is to get her back hip circle consistently without spot!💪
