Tuesday edition of Behind The Scenes - Spring Cleaning 🧹

Two or three times a year I pull every mat down off the wall and completely spray them with sanitizer and let them air dry. Then I flip them over and spray the other side. 🫧🧼🫧

We clean every piece of equipment we use after class each day but I like to make sure everything gets fully sanitized a few times a year.

Scam of the Week: Don’t Let Utility Scams Leave You in the Cold 🚨

Getting a text about power outages because of freezing temps? Slow down before you click.

Scammers are sending messages that look like they’re from utility providers with a link to an “outage map.” It’s actually a smishing scam designed to get you to click — which could install malware or send you to a fake site that steals your personal info.

Here’s the deal:
✔️ Don’t click links in unexpected texts
✔️ Check outages through your provider’s official website or app
✔️ If it creates urgency or fear — that’s a red flag

Delete suspicious messages and help spread the word. If you believe you’ve been targeted or victimized, report it to Amarillo Police at 806-378-3038 (non-emergency) or submit a report online at www.ic3.gov.

Our Golden Girls class spends time working on increasing strength, endurance, bone density, and mobility as well as working on memory and balance.

As women the way we age is different than men, therefore our workouts MUST be different than men. When your group class is not targeted for women you’re not doing what’s best for your body. So much information has come out recently about the difference between men and women, the way we age, the way we workout, and the way we lose weight. If you want to find out what your body truly needs to improve, age well, and live better…come see me or comment “AGE WELL” and I’ll send you more information.

Our Golden Girls meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 11a-12p. We work hard and have fun!

Everything can be modified if you have specific needs or limitations! Come see us!

Had some fun with the golden girls today. We enjoy getting into smaller groups and doing boot camp style workouts so they can spend more time getting to know each other. We have lots of new faces these days and it’s always good to see them all making friends!
