How long have you been skating?
5 years

How did you choose your name and number?
My name comes from my steam name that my dad made me when I was 9 and learning to play World of Warcraft and it kinda just fit my personality!

What’s your favorite derby memory?
My favorite derby memory was one night when doing some lazy training we put all of the skate mates on the track and were racing to each side and skating with them.

Do you have a pre-bout ritual?
My pre bout ritual is to start my day with a good high protein meal and plan out my outfit for the game.

What is your favorite thing about your team?
My favorite thing about my team is the fact that we can get hurt or make mistakes but still be able to joke around and have fun.

What is your biggest derby pet peeve?
My biggest derby pet peeve is when I get lost in the commotion and my team gets split up.

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?
The Middle- Jimmy Eat Word

If you had to survive a zombie apocalypse with one teammate, who are you picking and why?
Haily 'cause we would just talk and hangout the whole time and run away from the danger.

Would you rather play with wet gear or a borrowed mouthguard?
Wet gear.

Would you rather be stuck at an after-party with no music or no food?
No music.

If you could choose any animal as a pet, what would it be?
A raccoon!

Finally, what advice would you give to new skaters or anyone thinking about playing roller derby?
If it’s something your interested in just try it out, you only live once and you may find that you love it.

DERBY FAMILY! LET’S RALLY AROUND ONE OF OUR OWN!

One of our fellow skaters and refs, Gunz and Roses, is recovering from surgery after an accident. She has a long road ahead, and we want to help make things a little easier for her and her family of four (and their three very loved pups 🐶🐶🐶).

We’ve started a Meal Train to help take one thing off their plate while she focuses on healing.

Every little bit helps. This is what derby family is all about... showing up for each other when it matters most!

HELLO, SEPTEMBER!! This month, Third Coast Roller Derby is focusing some of our time on giving back and serving our community, because we are stronger together, on and off the track.

One of our two community events this month is a beach cleanup on September 19th. We're heading down to Surfside to help keep our coastline clean, and would LOVE for you to join us!

Our Third Coast skaters had a blast hitting the track at the Back to School Mashup, making new connections, and bringing the derby fun! 💙⚓

Big thanks to Heartland Roller Derby for hosting such a fun night of competition, camaraderie, and good sportsmanship. We love seeing the derby community come together! 🤘🛼
