Im just now getting around to posting these pics I took of the moon last night (08/27/2026). Unfortunately by the time of the Lunar Eclipse, around 12:12AM, it was too cloudy to see. But the moon rising was beautiful ❤️💯!!

Did I just point...and make lightning happen!?!?! 🤯 Tonight's storms merely grazed us. They ended up just North of me about 15 miles, and this video was the most we got, other than few torrential downpours earlier. 🤯

The dam at Vaughn Woods - Hallowell, Maine - 08/21/2026. Ive never seen any water flow over the top of the dam. It does have several 🤔 leaks. And this is the first time the pond above has looked this gross.

Vaughn Woods AKA Hobbitland - Hallowell, Maine.

This is a fun one! It gets the nickname 'Hobbitland' for the stone bridges (at least five of them) and how much people say it looks like scenes from the movie! Just 150 feet from parking, you can go Right and walk and wide easy dirt trail up on the ridge, or go Left and down over stone steps and boardwalks, sum r&r, but following along side Vaughn Brook. They lead to the same.place. Several other trail to explore too. We've been here a lot and the water level has never come high enough to go over the dam, that we have ever seen. Dam...has got some leaks tho!!!😉 😯
