Just some personal skulls I’m degreasing with 10% ammonia at room temperature . Don’t matter how long it takes they are mine and pulling grease. Changed out tonight to keep them rolling. Bobcat, woodchuck and a mink. Don’t stay idle. After all, what’s time to a skull? 😁

The beetles love the small and large skulls. Took the brown bear out tonight and hair dried it to get the beetles out and any hatchlings. Then gonna soak a couple times to get the beetle frass off of it. Ok, s**t. That what they call it. Reason is, before I put it in degrease it helps to remove most of that, otherwise your degrease turns mucky really fast and you end up changing water immediately. Let the good times roll! Btw, that’s a pint jar behind it for reference, with my collection of furbearer baculum also in ammonia. Aren’t ya glad you know me 😁?

If ya don’t like different, than ya ain’t gonna like me soooo. Let’s just degrease some moose scaps. They are huge and impressive. I’m very lucky to get them as I’m agey and that’s a young person’s game lol. And btw, if you are here, you love different.

Water change today on the remaining deer skulls. Kept one out to dry and see. Whitening two more. Much to do after whitening, antler grease, gluing and a little touchup. And finally the brown bear I stuck in Friday nite. Great progress by my workers.
