Reel-Kids Fishing League
Wednesdays, June 3 - August 5, 2026
4:30pm – 6:00pm
Alma Fishing Float

The shuttle boat transports league member to the fishing float at 4:30pm. The shuttle returns members at 6:00pm. There will be no extra trips. If a member needs to be back before 6:00pm, please do not plan to attend that week.

League fishing will include events with prizes awarded, along with “Fun fishing” dates where just fishing will occur.

2026 Trap Schedule at the Alma Rod & Gun Club

Area youth gathered to celebrate the youth turkey season at the clubhouse. Fourteen kids weighed birds in during the 3rd annual event. Eleven birds were harvested on Saturday and three on a thunderstorm infused Sunday morning. All kids that hunted received a door prize and were entered into the grand prize drawings. Grand prize winners were: Ty Jumbeck - Avian X decoy, Hazel Rasmussen - Premos Hunting blind and Grant Yapp - Turkey hunting vest. Thanks to all our sponsors for their generous support.

UPDATED: *Preliminary numbers for Buffalo County showed that 27.7% of the youth harvested turkeys went through our youth day celebration! Outstanding.
