🏁 Tri-State Speedway Recap 🏁

We went out for hot laps and the car felt pretty good, so we decided to keep the same setup going into the heat.

We started P1, but unfortunately the odds just weren’t in our favor. Another car came down on me, causing me to check up and almost spin with nowhere to go. In the process, some damage was done to other cars, and for that, I am absolutely sorry to everyone involved. I never intend to mess up anyone else’s car. We take a lot of pride in our race car, and I know how much work, time, and money goes into these cars.

Come A Feature time we got the body damage zip-tied back up and made the necessary repairs. We started P9 and just held down the rear of the A.

It definitely wasn’t the night we wanted, but sometimes racing throws you some tough nights. We’ll take what we learned, fix what we can, and come back ready to race another day.

🏁 Tri-State Speedway Race Recap 🏁

After some time away from racing because of a leg injury and moving, it felt amazing to finally be back at Tri-State Speedway!

We went out for hot laps, and the car felt great. In the heat race, I started P5 and worked my way up to P3. For the A Feature, I started P3 and finished P4.

The car wasn’t firing on all cylinders, so we still have a little work to do to get it where we want it. Even so, we’re proud to bring home a top-4 finish! One of the coolest moments of the night was getting to go through tech for the first time and seeing all the adults and kids. Getting to hand out fist bumps and high fives made the night even more special.

A huge thank you to Tandy Sullivan for helping get my car ready and for jumping out of your own car before the A Feature just to help get mine started. I truly appreciate everything you do!
