Sorry for the delay on a race recap, but Saturday at Tri-State Speedway we went out for hot laps and the car felt pretty good. Went out for my heat race starting P6 and finished P6. The car just kind of fell flat on us.

We went out for the A Feature starting P6 and finished P5. We thought we had the issue fixed, but unfortunately it still wasn’t right, so I decided to pull in.

Just one of those nights where you have to go back to the shop, figure out what’s wrong, and come back stronger next time.

Race Recap 🏁

Friday we went out for hot laps and the car had a little push, so we tightened it up. Went out for the heat race starting P4 and finished P6. After coming in, we found an oil leak. Then the rain moved in and the rest of the night was rained out.

Saturday we started P11 in the make-up A Feature and worked our way up to finish P8. Unfortunately, we ended up losing oil pressure and the car started overheating, so we decided it was best to load it up and not risk tearing anything up even more.

Now it’s time to figure out what’s going on and hopefully we’ll be back at it this Saturday!
