It's that time of year, the big are getting ready to move in close to stage and the younger kings and steelhead put on the feedbag before winter. A nice mixed bag of fish continue to hit the deck of the Grand Illusion. While kings and steelhead dominate the cooler, a few pink salmon have been showing up and a few cohos, lake trout and even a couple brown trout have made it to the cleaning table. The fall seson is approaching and soon the bigger kings will stage in front of the harbor prior to their spawing run. We have a few mornings open yet for some fantastic fall fishing. The Schindler crew from Moorhead, MN are heading back home with coolers full of salmon and trout after 3 days fishing. Along the way they had a few exciting evenings bowling and eating chicken wings at Algoma Pizza Bowl (thanks Angie). Lokking forward to some great fishing with these guys next year!
