Fishing from Shore
You don’t need a boat to cast a line in Algoma! Grab your fishing gear and try your luck from the pier, harbor or other accessible shoreline areas as the seasons change.

Explore Our Inland Waters
The fishing opportunities extend beyond Lake Michigan, too. Area rivers, streams and inland waters offer even more ways to get outside, slow down and enjoy a day on the water.

Whether you book a charter, cast from the pier or explore nearby inland waters, Algoma is a great place to make fishing part of your visit.

It's that time of year, the big are getting ready to move in close to stage and the younger kings and steelhead put on the feedbag before winter. September is a great time to get that fishing trip of a lifetime in and fill that freezer! I only have a couple of prime weekend mornings left for the season, including a last minute cancellation for next Saturday. message me for details, we would love to get you on some fish! A nice mixed bag of fish continue to hit the deck of the Grand Illusion. While kings and steelhead dominate the cooler, a few pink salmon have been showing up and a few cohos, lake trout and even a couple brown trout have made it to the cleaning table. The fall seson is approaching and soon the bigger kings will stage in front of the harbor prior to their spawing run. We have a few mornings open yet for some fantastic fall fishing. Wh wants to go fishing?
