UPDATE: The captain is doing well, kept the eye, and is already talking about getting back on the water. We’d also like to thank everyone who reached out with calls, messages, prayers, and well wishes. It truly means a lot.

A huge thank you to the Algoma Rescue Team for your quick response and great care. Thank you to Hunter Falish and Barry Walters for jumping in to help without hesitation. And a very special thank you to the amazing customers and friends who were on the boat with us. Your calmness, quick thinking, and support through such a scary situation meant more than words can say.

🚨 WANTED 🚨

There is currently a $500 bounty on a 3-year-old King Salmon last seen in 100 foot of water off 3 Mile Creek.

Charges include:
• Assault with a deadly spoon
• Resisting capture
• Attempted murder of a charter captain

Suspect is still at large and believed to be armed. There’s officially a bounty on him. Dead or alive. (Preferably filleted.)

(P.S. No, there isn’t actually a $500 reward. We’re fishermen… not lottery winners. 😂 If you catch him, we’ll settle for a picture and a good laugh.)
