BT Cattle is owned and operated by Travis, Carma, and Raegan West, who have been longtime supporters of our fair and are always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

Raegan’s fair journey began at just 5 years old, showing rabbits in the old yellow show tent. 🎪Since then, the fair has remained an important part of the family’s life.

Travis has helped behind the scenes with FairEntry and has assisted with the livestock auction, helping things run smoothly for exhibitors and buyers alike. Carma has also stepped up wherever needed, including helping take entries for the tractor pull last year.📝

We are grateful for families like the Wests who not only support the fair through sponsorship but also through countless volunteer hours that help keep our traditions alive.

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight – Jenna Montle 🌟

The Albany Independent Fair truly is “The Fair That Raised Us,” and Jenna Montle is a perfect example of that tradition coming full circle. 💚🎡

Jenna began showing chickens at the Albany Independent Fair at just 5 years old. She later served on the Albany Jr. Fair Board and proudly represented our fair as the 2015 Albany Independent Fair Queen. Jenna is also the 4th generation of her family to serve the Albany Independent Fair, continuing a tradition of dedication and community involvement that has spanned generations.

Today, Jenna continues giving back to the very community that helped shape her. She spends countless hours helping local youth with their livestock projects, serves as the Co-Advisor of the Athens County Jr. Fair Board, and captures special moments at our events and livestock shows through professional photography — generously providing those photos to kids and families at no charge.

Thank you, Jenna, for continuing to invest in the next generation and helping keep the spirit of our fair alive for years to come. 💚

🇺🇸 Help Us Light Up the Sky Once Again! 🎆

Many years ago, fireworks were a part of the Albany Independent Fair tradition — and we think 2026 is the perfect year to continue bringing them back! ❤️🤍💙

With this year’s theme being “The Fair That Raised Us” and as America celebrates its 250th Anniversary, we want to create a special night full of memories for our community and future generations.

We are currently seeking sponsors to help fund our 2nd Annual Fireworks Display during the 2026 fair with a goal of $5,000.

Back in 1976:
• Season memberships for adults were just $2
• Season memberships for kids ages 12–18 were only $1
• Kids under 12 got in FREE
• Or you could pay just $1 for daily admission!
