3 Gun Match. What is a 3 Gun Match? 3 separate guns are used in different target stages throughout a gun shooting competition. A series of Target Stages is called a Course. Course designers ensure that each stage is different and unique. Hilltop Gun Club Range Master Bob Lust is a genius when it comes to designing stages and courses. Lust often adds unique elements, obstacles and challenges that both new and seasoned competitors always find fun and challenging. Shooters have to navigate their way through the course while transitioning from one firearm to the next. 3 Gun Matches require a Pistol a shotgun and a rifle. H.G.C. June 22 competition is a Run What You Brung firearm competition, other than .22 RIM FIRE guns. 3 Gun matches are fun, exciting and fast paced, and gets your adrenaline pumping for sure. Competitors will need 75 rounds to shoot clean. They are more entertaining to watch than most other matches. June 22..11 A.M. 20$ fee. Plenty of parking. Are you into sports shooting competition? How about shooting shotguns? Hilltop Gun Club located at Pearlwood Road Albany Ohio will hold Athens County's first ever Rabbit Run competition plus 2 other Stages, 1 of which will be a mock up shoot house. June 2 at 11 AM. 20 fee. You'll need 15 slugs and 30 shot shells of your choice to get through this fun and exciting day. We do hope that you come visit and compete. Be There or Be Square.

Hilltop Gun Club was founded by returning WWII combat war veterans in Waterloo Township Athens County Ohio by the newly formed Gilham - Frank VFW Post 8804 back in 1948. Today the gun club is still operated by veterans. Memorial Day is coming up and many of our members will be attending a Memorial service somewhere to honor the war dead. Just imagine that if our boys and girls and men and women didn't win World War II for our freedoms. Such as your freedom to keep and use fi****ms. We encourage that all of you celebrate Memorial day but please show your Patrotic duties and attend a service Monday the 27th. New Marshfield Ohio will hold its 77th Annual service which was started by the same VFW Post in 1947.
