To all our wonderful customers,
We are at that time of year already and it seems that things are going wild. During this time of year through Summer we will be shoehorning in as many loads per day/week as the DOT and safety of our drivers will allow and we are doing the best we can to be able to serve everyone's potable water needs as their requests allow. Its the time of year we need to remind all of our customers that at this point and probably through summer, same day service will not be possible or in many times even next day.
And while we understand and try to work with emergencies to the best of our ability, we also have a level of courtesy to all of our customers that we uphold.
We understand that for many types of businesses offering to pay the Emergency Fee can expedite things. In the way we do our scheduling either there are still openings in our DOT hours of service for that 24 hour period of time or there are not. This isn't just a matter of paying a driver Over Time Hours. If there are still openings for the number of hours needed to make your delivery, we will schedule your load in with no need for emergency fees, and if there is not, the only option we have is to tell another customer that we have to remove them from the place they were already scheduled to put your order in. If you were on the flip side of that, how would you feel? Again, this would not necessitate an "Emergency Fee".
The short version of all of this is to say, Please, Please, Please, try to keep the best eye possible on how much water is in your tank each day so that you are aware of when your levels are getting low enough to give us a call to get on the list in the next few days. Its a matter of Help Us Help You.
We value each and every one of you and value the need for good safe water as well.
Sharon, Jonathan, Sam, Jen and Jay.
