Today I bring you two beautiful new 108” wide backings from Andover Fabrics and Alison Glass—and boy, are they FUN! 😍

We’ve got bold prints, gorgeous colors, butterflies, florals, and all kinds of happy happening on these bolts. 🌈🦋🌺

And I’m thinking I may need some of this for myself… because I’m pretty sure one of these needs to become a BAG! 👜✂️ These are absolutely my colors, and you know I can’t resist a good bold print. 😂

Of course, they’ll make fabulous quilt backs too—but who says a 108” wide back has to stay on the back of a quilt?! 😉

🧵 A LITTLE SHOP UPDATE — EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 🧵

This is not a post I ever wanted to have to make, but unfortunately, we’ve reached a point where it is necessary.

Effective immediately, Sew Enchanting Equine Quilt Shop will have a NO BAG POLICY inside the shop. Purses, totes, backpacks, shopping bags, and other personal bags will need to remain outside the shopping area.

Sadly, we have had too many items disappearing from the quilt shop without being purchased. As a small business, inventory loss affects us tremendously. Every bolt of fabric, pattern, notion, zipper, and little goodie on our shelves matters.

I hate having to make a policy that affects all of our wonderful, honest customers because of the actions of a few. But in order to protect our quilt shop, our inventory, and the shopping experience we work so hard to provide, this is something we have to do.

We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. ❤️

Today I bring to you all the lovely new goodies that have officially made their way from the cart to the shop floor—and they’re finally on display! 🙌

👜 TONS of new bag zipper pulls because you girls have been asking for new zipper pulls—and boy, did we get a bunch! And yes... there are MORE on the way. 😍
🍂 New little seasonal patterns
✂️ And, of course, all the other good ta-tas that somehow keep finding their way into this quilt shop!

There is always something new around here, and apparently I have absolutely no intention of stopping. 😂

☕🧵 TODAY IS A GET-CAUGHT-UP-BEHIND-THE-SCENES KIND OF DAY! 🧵☕

I’ve been out here at the quilt shop since I finished my morning cup of coffee, and we are getting things DONE! 🙌

First up was Stephanie’s quilt on the longarm. She also had some bag pieces she wanted quilted, and since we knew we’d have a little extra room on her backing, I decided to squeeze them in.

And ladies… when I say SQUEEZE… 😂😳

It got TIGHT! It was like a little quilting miracle waiting to happen, trying to get every single piece to fit without running out of backing. But I made it work! 🎉 Everything fit, everything got quilted, and that job is officially checked off the list. ✔️

Now I’m tackling the mountain of inventory that has been patiently waiting for me. I’ve got new goodies, lots of new bag hardware, and a whole bunch of new patterns that need to be entered into the system. 👜✂️🧵

And THANK YOU to everyone who placed an online order over the holiday weekend! 📦💕 I had quite a few waiting for me, and every single order means so much to this little quilt shop. We truly appreciate each and every one of you who shops with us—whether you walk through our door or order from us online. ❤️

So that’s the rest of my day, ladies: inventory, inventory, and more inventory.

Although… I think we’ve officially reached the portion of the afternoon where the coffee gets replaced with a glass of wine. 🍷😂

And the BEST part? My husband is handling the cooking AND the cleaning in the house today.

YAY ME! 🙌🍷🤣

✨🌿 NEW FABRIC ALERT — WELLSPRING 🌿✨

Today’s new fabric is Wellspring by Moda Fabrics, and this one is truly something special. 💜🧡🩷

Wellspring features two beautiful panels filled with different scripture verses and meaningful words, along with three coordinating bolts that complement them beautifully.

But I’m gonna be real honest with you ladies… I have TONS of bundles in the shop that will pair perfectly with these panels! 😍 With those gorgeous, rich, bohemian colors, you could easily pull together a beautiful and meaningful quilt.

And personally? I think I need a table runner out of this one. 🧵✂️ Sometimes a piece of fabric just speaks to you, and this collection definitely does.

It’s moving. It’s colorful. It’s quite lovely. ❤️

✨ NEW FABRIC + LONGARM GOODIES ✨

Today I introduce you to Seedling by Katrina Roccella for Art Gallery Fabrics. 🌿

Somehow, I discovered I was missing a few bolts that I never ordered—and obviously, we could NOT have an incomplete collection. 😂 So, naturally, I had to fix that!

These are absolute stunners and make the most beautiful blenders. And while I was ordering, I couldn't say no to three adorable little prints either. We have the sweetest bunnies, one super-elegant print, and a gorgeous peach floral. Because apparently I have no self-control when pretty fabric is involved. 🤷‍♀️
