Looking for a fun way to stay active this summer? Join theMarcus Lewis Racquet Club's Summer Pickleball Programs at the Bromfield High School in Harvard!

Whether you're brand new to the game, looking for competitive play, or have a junior player eager to learn, we have a program for you.

Introductory Pickleball
Saturdays | 10:00–11:30 AM
June 27 – August 15
Perfect for beginners learning the fundamentals of America's fastest-growing sport!

Pickleball Up & Down the River (2.5–3.5)
Thursdays | 6:30–8:30 PM
June 25 – August 13
Competitive and social match play for intermediate players looking to improve and have fun.

Junior Pickleball (Ages 11–14)

Summer tennis is back in Westford with the Marcus Lewis Racquet Club.

From Red Ball beginners to competitive Yellow Ball players, our Summer Mini Clinics are designed to keep juniors active, improving, and having fun all Summer long.

Programs run Monday–Thursday with Friday rain dates:
• Red Ball – 8am
• Orange Ball – 9am
• Green Ball – 10am
• Yellow Ball – 11am

Adult clinics are also available:
• Beginner/Advanced Beginner – Mondays 5:30–7pm
• Low Intermediate/Intermediate – Thursdays 5:30–7pm
New this summer: Additional Yellow Ball evening clinics Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30–7pm.

Short daily clinics make it easy to fit tennis into your summer schedule while building skills, confidence, and match experience.

Summer Pickleball Registration is NOW OPEN.

Join the Marcus Lewis Racquet Club this summer in Sudbury and Acton for outdoor pickleball classes for all levels — from introductory players to experienced intermediates.

The Summer Session runs June 22 through August 15.

Programs include:
• Introductory Pickleball
• Advanced Beginner Clinics
• Low Intermediate Classes
• 3.5 Intermediate Programs
• Coached Round Robins

Acton — Elm Street Courts

We’re also expanding our Harvard programs this summer at The Bromfield School with additional classes including:

Hello MLRC Followers,

As of last week, all of the foundation walls for the tennis structure were completed. Now the anchor bolts will be set into the concrete of the tennis building. These are used to secure the structure that will go on top of the foundation.

Where the pickleball building will located, all of the septic sand and washed stone have been spread and compacted. 50% of the foundation has been poured and the rest of it will be completed within another week.

The area where the clubhouse will be located is being prepped and the footings will be poured before the weekend. These are made of reinforced concrete and will keep the building stable.

You can see the progress being made just from a few weeks ago!

Summer tennis programs in Chelmsford are now open with the Marcus Lewis Racquet Club.

Looking for a fun and active summer program for your junior player? Our Tuesday and Thursday evening clinics are designed for all ages and levels — from beginner Red Ball players to advanced Yellow Ball competitors.

Programs run July 7 – August 20:

• Red Ball – 4–5pm
• Orange Ball – 5–6pm
• Green Ball – 6–7pm
• Yellow Ball – 7–8pm

Yellow Ball spaces are currently available and are a great fit for middle school and high school players looking to stay sharp this summer.

Many of our followers have asked about one of our most colorful and energetic players, “Magic” Marti Sarquella, also known as “Magico” which is the Spanish word for magic.

Marti and his family moved south to Florida last fall where he now attends Doral Academy. Unsurprisingly, this school has a solid tennis team of which Marti is now a part. What was a very pleasant surprise is that Marti along with his new teammates took the state championship! In a hotbed of tennis like Florida, it makes a statement to come out on top in an environment like that. Marti represented the team at 2nd doubles where he and his partner managed to save not one, or two…but THREE match points to help seal the tight 4-3 victory.

Check out some of the images, articles and even a video of a “welcome home” police es**rt for their team! We added in a picture from his days as an up and coming 9 year-old that show his humble beginnings before turning into a superstar.

Meet Dan — coach, competitor, contractor, and now pickleball fanatic.

A lifelong athlete and Concord local, Dan has spent decades building teams, businesses, and community connections both on and off the court. After launching his own successful contracting company in 1984 (now proudly run by his son Harrison), Dan continued pursuing his passion for sports through coaching and mentorship.

From collegiate soccer coaching to leading varsity programs at Bedford High School and Concord Academy, Dan has always believed in the power of participation, sportsmanship, and skill development. A proud advocate of the Positive Coaching Alliance, his energy and enthusiasm for helping players grow is unmatched.

And after hanging up the cleats from the “Over-the-Hill Soccer League,” Dan found his next obsession: Pickleball.

Whether he’s coaching, competing, or cheering players on, Dan brings passion, positivity, and a lifelong love of sports everywhere he goes.

No programs or classes will run on Memorial weekend but the courts will be open for bookings!

You can book courts up to 7 days in advance by logging into your account then choose "Reserve a Court." All bookings can be done online or through the MLRC APP.
