At MLRC, we believe in building more than tennis players. Our summer camps develop confidence, discipline, and a love for the game that sticks with kids long after August is over.

Programs available for ages 5 through 17.

As we build our new club and enter into a new era of tennis in Acton, it’s time for us to start showcasing some of our up and coming junior talent!

Meet Anya Iyer…11 years-old and extremely focused. This little lefty has started to learn how to slice her serve which is getting her the occasional ace against her opponents. She has managed to win her past two tournaments by being consistent and taking the ball early, but there is one more trait that we expect you will be hearing more about in the future: her ability to play the net. In a game that has many juniors attempting to grind it out from the baseline, the art of coming in and pressuring opponents with good volleys has gotten lost in the shuffle. Not in Anya’s case. She is coming in and hitting some great volley-winners.

In tennis, when you do something unique from the rest of the pack, that is an advantage in itself. Opponents will have a tougher time because they are unsure of how to adjust.

Congrats on your tournament wins, Anya! We’ll look forward to more trophies down the road!

Things are moving quickly now with our new club!

It was a very hot few weeks, but both the tennis and pickleball courts have their first layer of asphalt down and the pickleball building is currently going up.

The crew is making great time so that we will be operational in only a few months!

Adult Beginner Tennis Explained

This level (Typically Level 1.0–2.0) is for adults who are new to tennis or still building the fundamentals. The focus is less on “winning points” and more on learning the skills to rally, serve, and play confidently.

New to tennis or returning after time away?

Adult Beginner Tennis is the perfect place to start. This class focuses on learning the fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. Players will work on basic stroke technique (forehand, backhand, volleys), serving, rallying, and court positioning, while also learning scoring and the rules of the game. No experience needed—just bring a racquet and a great attitude!
