The main thing in reloading and shooting is consistency!
When you do all the steps the same way from casting slugs to trigger pull, you get repeatable results.
The same with components producing.

Our Bush Buster lead flat nose slug on 29gr of Longshot powder.

Mr. Daiki Ishioka - our client from Japan just received his latest order - Bush buster lead slug mold.
He was very fast and just on the second day after receiving we have a shooting results.
Mr. Ishioka decided to start his test with a flat nose version (mold comes with two pins -flat nose and hollow point).
4 loads of Longshot powder 27, 28, 29 and 30gr. In 12/70 shell, using a trimmed shot wad (all on the picture).
Velocities:
27gr：1236fps
28gr：1302fps
29gr：1315fps
30gr：1344fps
It's definitely possible to reach higher velocity, as there still a lot of space in a shell for more powder.
But as Daiki is mostly doing a target shooting accuracy and low recoil is more important for him.
