Short report from Finland 🇫🇮.
Just a primary test of Vihtavuori N320 with our Bush Buster steel sabot slugs.
Powder charge - 1,6g.
All other components where the same, as with Vihtavuori 3N37 in previous shooting sessions (gas seal, felt wad).
Gun - Fully rifled IJ-18 in 12 Ga

Results:
3 shot group in 60mm.
All bullet holes are perfectly round
One sabot was has lost 3 petals in some unknown reason 🤔. Maybe that was the reason of that flyer, and group could be even better.
But still group is satisfying, and Vihtavuori N320 deserves more tests with Bush Busters.

Yesterday we've received a new year gift, from our customer and friend from Finland.
New shooting report.
Bush buster steel sabot slug. 🌳
12/70 shells
Vihtavuori 3N37 powder (2,0g and 2,2g)
Gas seal + 6 mm felt wad.
Gun - slug gun, based on Ij-18 platform with fully rifled 12ga barrel (barrel blank made by Verney-Carron), bushnell 3-9x40 scope.
50 meters, air temperature -15 C

We both where disappointed, we didn't get any velocity data, because of incorrect chrono reading.

But ..
1. Groups are tight and repeatable (size similar to previous shooting session.
2. Ammo functions good in low temperature conditions.🥶
3. All sabots are working properly - holding on rifling, traveling +- the same distance.📏
4. Slugs are flying straight - all holes on paper, are perfectly round.

That kind of reports are getting a great motivation for further product improvement. 🔬

I hope, soon Sakari will send us not only pictures of holes in paper 🎯, but some trophy report 🦌.

Зявилася можливість знову комплектувати наші контейнери Рись пижами.
В наявності три види пижів.
Нагадуємо, контейнер Рись дозволяє споряджати набої 12 калібру шротом чи картеччю вагою снаряду до 42г.
Контейнер поміщається на порох, всередину контейнера встановлюється пиж потрібної висоти (зміною висоти пижа змінюється вага дробу). Конструкція контейнера дозволяє досягти підвищеної купності бою і збільшити дистанцію ефективного пострілу.
