Meet Ida Marko-Varga – one of our Team BEWI ambassadors.

Ida’s life has been shaped by elite sport, swimming, coaching and performance. Today, she works with young athletes, mental training and development – while also taking the next step in her own journey through the Management Diploma for Athletes at the Stockholm School of Economics.

For Ida, performance is about more than results. It is about setting goals, dealing with setbacks, staying curious, looking after both body and mind – and continuing to develop, even when the next step is not obvious.

That mindset is a big part of what Team BEWI is all about.

As a Team BEWI ambassador, Ida will share more from her journey – from training and coaching to personal development, new challenges and life beyond elite sport.

We are very happy to have her with us. Welcome to Team BEWI, Ida!

Yesterday, Martin made it to the top of Kebnekaise.

But this story isn’t really about reaching the top of a mountain. It’s about the journey there.

For Martin, that journey has been about making health a bigger part of everyday life. Training regularly. Moving more. Eating better. Setting goals – and putting in the work.

Kebnekaise was one of those goals. Yesterday, he stood at the top.

And that is what Team BEWI is about.

Your mountain doesn’t have to be Kebnekaise. It can be getting back to the gym, taking a walk, changing a habit or simply moving a little more.

We all have different mountains to climb.

The important thing is to start – and hopefully inspire someone else along the way.

Congratulations, Martin. One mountain at a time.

After running an incredible 106 km in 12 hours on the treadmill at PACE earlier this year, Peter Haldén is ready for his next challenge.

Tomorrow, he lines up for the Bocksten Vineyard Backyard at Ästad Vingård with the aim of keeping going for at least 24 hours. And hopefully quite a bit longer.

Best of luck, Peter! Team BEWI will be cheering you on all the way.

92 kilometres. From Sälen to Mora. And plenty of moments when both body and mind said enough.

Patrik Gillner recently took on Ultravasan 90 – starting in the cold early morning hours in Sälen and following the historic Vasaloppet route towards Mora. The first part brought beautiful trails, great energy and strong legs. Later came tired muscles, heat, long gravel roads and a race against the cut-off times.

At Eldris, Patrik made the final cut with around ten minutes to spare. Nine kilometres remained. And when the finish line finally appeared in Mora, the tiredness disappeared for a moment as he ran beneath the iconic Vasaloppet finish portal.

His goal was simple: to finish. 92 kilometres later – mission accomplished. 💪

A fantastic achievement and a great example of how far determination can take you when things get difficult. And Patrik is already looking ahead. Next up: Kullamannen Seventh Seal – 53 km on 31 October.

Congratulations, Patrik! 👏

A year ago, simply getting through the working day took most of Sonny Rasmussen’s energy.

Problems with both shoulders and his knees had made physical activity almost impossible. For someone who had always been active, it was a difficult period. Today, at 60, things look very different.

Sonny, who works at BEWI Packaging in Sweden, now trains four to five times a week – from power walks and strength training to spinning and group sessions. One of the turning points came when he joined a Team BEWI training session in Varberg to celebrate his 60th birthday.

“I realised that my body could handle much more than I thought. Training together again, with all the encouragement and positive energy, really inspired me.”

From there, he started with the basics: changing his diet, daily rehabilitation exercises and brisk walks. Step by step, more followed. The result is about much more than training. Better sleep. More energy. And, perhaps most importantly, having something left in the tank when the working day is over.

His advice to anyone thinking they are too old, too unfit or simply too busy?

“Start from the beginning. Don’t take shortcuts. Find 20–30 minutes a day for your health.”

And Sonny is far from finished. After an upcoming knee operation, he already has his sights set on a new challenge: a longer mountain hike – with Kebnekaise high on the list.

As Sonny puts it:

“60 is the new 40. Age is just a number – not a barrier to training.”

This is Team BEWI at its best: one person inspiring another to take the first step – and that person perhaps inspiring the next.

What a first half of the year it has been. We’ve run, cycled, trained, competed and shared plenty of great moments together across Team BEWI.

Now, as summer holidays come to an end, we’re looking ahead. And we already know that the second half of the year will bring a few surprises…

Some plans are already in motion. Some challenges are waiting. And a few things we’re not quite ready to reveal just yet.

Welcome back, Team BEWI.
More to come.

Morning training at Treningssenter på Frøya , together with colleagues from .

Frøya is where the BEWI journey began. A place that still says a lot about who we are: grounded, committed and built by people who know the value of effort, energy and community.

Team BEWI is not a separate activity. It is part of the culture. Starting the day together, moving together and bringing that same energy back into everyday work.

Team BEWI is built not only through work, but through the relationships and experiences that bring people together.

This evening, Martin Be**en and Marie Danielsson joined Tobias at David Seisay for a training session.

We did it. 100,000 SEK reached for Cancerfonden.

What started as an idea within Team BEWI became something much bigger. Through Run for a Reason, colleagues, families, friends, partners and supporters have run, walked, donated, shared, cheered, organised, coached and helped us keep moving towards one shared goal.

Now we have reached it.

More than 100,000 SEK raised for – and behind that number are countless moments of care, energy and commitment. From Göteborgsvarvet to local challenges, treadmill sessions, training runs and every contribution along the way – this has shown what Team BEWI can be when people choose to be part of something with purpose.

To everyone who took part, supported, donated or helped make this possible: thank you. We are proud. We are grateful. And we are only getting started.

Team BEWI – Run for a Reason
Care. Community. Purpose.

Meet Andreas Fogelberg, Operation Manager at BEWI Insulation, Sweden – and a true culture carrier for Team BEWI.

Andreas is one of those people who brings energy, commitment, and direction to the team. Whether it is at the factory, in everyday collaboration or in a challenge outside work, he helps create the kind of culture where people want to contribute, take part and push a little further.

Recently, Andreas captained the BEWI team to victory in Wästkustens Mästare – a great example of team spirit and shared determination in action.

Thank you, Andreas, for leading by example and for being an important part of what makes Team BEWI.
