Abdou is a solid and dependable defender, while Bangally is a lethal striker with a proven eye for goal.

Congratulations to the New GFF President

Fortune FC extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Kemo Ceesay on his election today as President of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) for the next four years.

We wish Mr. Ceesay and his newly elected Executive Committee every success as they take on the responsibility of leading Gambian football. We look forward to a new chapter of progress, unity and development for the game we all love.

We also commend and congratulate all the other candidates who offered themselves for service and contributed to the democratic process. Their willingness to serve Gambian football deserves recognition and respect.

Fortune FC Mourns the Passing of the Mother of Our Media Officer

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Fortune Football Club announces the passing of the beloved mother of our Media Officer, Mr. Ebrima Mbaye, who returned to her Creator earlier today.

On behalf of the President, Executive Committee, players, technical staff, supporters, and the entire Fortune FC family, we extend our deepest condolences to Ebrima Mbaye and his entire family during this difficult time. Ebrima has served the club with dedication, professionalism, and commitment, and we stand in solidarity with him as he mourns this irreplaceable loss.

We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds, and grants her the highest place in Jannatul Firdaws. May He also grant Brother Ebrima, his family, and loved ones patience, strength, and comfort during this period of grief.

The burial is scheduled for today, Thursday, 6th August 2026, at 5:00 pm in Kerewan Samba Sira (CRR). We kindly request everyone to remember the deceased and the bereaved family in your prayers.

May Allah (SWT) grant her eternal peace. Ameen.

Throughout the tournament, our players and technical team represented Fortune FC with pride, carrying the club’s name with humility and respect both on and off the pitch.
