Norge beslutade att göra tränarcertifikatet obligatoriskt, på samma sätt som i många andra länder runt om i världen. Enligt norska myndigheter kommer Coach-certifikatet "att säkerställa att de som är ansvariga för idrottsaktiviteten, underlättar säkerhet, bemästringsupplevelser och autonomi för idrottaren, samt har kunskap om att skydda idrottarens hälsa, miljö och säkerhet."

Tror du inte att ett liknande tillvägagångssätt i Sverige skulle vara fördelaktigt för skyddet av barn och idrottare inom idrotten? Personligen stöder jag ett sådant tillvägagångssätt.

På Idrettstinget 2021 ble det bestemt av Trenerattesten blir obligatorisk. Dette skal sikre at barn og unge møter et likere og mer helhetlig kvalitetstilbud uavhengig av trener, idrett eller klubb.

Jag tror att det finns ett behov av en sådan säker idrottshandbok även i Sverige.

Det skulle ge klarhet i de olika betydelserna av övergrepp och trakasserier inom idrotten, tydliga rutiner för att rapportera övergrepp och trakasserier och det viktigaste skulle ge det så välbehövliga skyddet för alla barn i idrotten.

Safesport Sweden hade ett liknande mål med sitt initiativ.
