🇳🇿🎱🏆The VNEA Waikato Championship is on this Saturday March 28!

'The Road to Las Vegas Tour' returns for 2026! The tour will again see singles VNEA8-Ball tournaments being run at all Massé branches with Valley tables. National Championships events in 8-Ball and 9-Ball will also be held during 2026.

'The Road to Las Vegas Tour' will continue to have its own standalone ranking system with the highest ranked player being awarded a spot in the 2027 New VNEA Zealand Pool Team! Tour rankings will also be combined with the team's league rankings whereby the balance of the team is selected.

The tour will also enable players who do not play in the team's leagues to play enough games to qualify to play in Las Vegas if they are paying their own way there.

The first tour event of 2026 is the VNEA Waikato Championship on Saturday March 28, starting at 9am at Massé Hamilton. Section play will be followed by straight knockout for the last 32. Entry is $50 for adults and $20 for juniors. The field will be capped so do not miss out!

Thank you to Massé for another fantastic opportunity to test my skills against the best juniors in the World.

🇳🇿🎱TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT🎱🇳🇿
2026 will be the 36th anniversary of the VNEA Junior Pool Championships and New Zealand will be sending 9 juniors to compete in what is the biggest junior pool championships in the world! This year the tournament returns to Sioux City in Nebraska and will be played from July 23 to 26.

This year our selectors have picked an experienced team with all of the players having previously travelled to the USA to compete in this junior championship. The squad will train monthly with the NZ senior team who will compete in the World championships in Las Vegas this May. Training dates will be announced soon.

As usual, Massé will be sponsoring the team, with the junior players airfares, accommodation, entry fees, and unforms paid for by the Club. We'll set up a group page for parents and players, but in the meantime, any questions can be directed to [email protected].
