Calling out for all girls interested in rugby league around Taranaki and keen to come along to an all girls 4 week summer training clinic with NRLW players. These training clinics will be free of charge hosted at the Waitara Bears rugby league grounds of the afternoons of 16th and 23rd of December 2025 and the 20th and 27th of January 2026. These clinics will be held and ran by NRLW players Tiana Davison and Keighley Simpson.

The clinics will be for girls ages 12-18 and cater to all abilities of rugby league whether you have been playing for years or keen to come along and learn something new and give it a go. The sessions will go for an hour/hour and a half depending on interest and numbers, sessions will include learning different skills such as passing, catching and ball handling as well as fun games/relays, conditioning and speed blocks as well as the fundamentals of tackling and collision.

Spots for these clinics are limited to 40 girls so first in first served, ideally the girls would be available to attend all four sessions as each session will progress into the next. Below is a link to register for these clinics, cut off for these registrations will be the 5th of December however, if we reach our max limit before then we will close registrations. More information and confirmation to come following the closure of the registration form.
