🏉 Calling all Tokoroa rugby coaches! 🏉

If you’re coaching this season — whether junior, secondary school, or club rugby — this is a great opportunity to grow your coaching skills and connect with others in our rugby community.

Waikato Rugby are running a series of World Rugby Level 1 Foundation Coaching Courses during June and July for community coaches across the Waikato.

These practical 2.5-hour courses will cover:
✅ Coaching principles
✅ Session delivery
✅ Skill development
✅ Tackle/contact safety
✅ Creating positive learning environments

📍 Courses run from 6.00pm – 8.30pm
📍 Limited to 30 coaches per course

Course Dates:
📅 Wednesday 3 June – Junior Coaches at Leamington Rugby Sports Club
📅 Wednesday 10 June – Secondary School & Club Coaches at Suburbs Community Sports Club
📅 Wednesday 17 June – Secondary School & Club Coaches at Ohaupo Rugby Sports Club
📅 Friday 17 July – Ako Wahine (Women Only) at FMG Stadium, Hamilton

A special night for our SURF Junior Rugby Club getting to head the the Chiefs match last night.

A massive thanks to Ruakura Rugby Football Club for hosting us and Rugby for Life for the impact you’re making within our club. Can’t forget the countless volunteers working behind the scenes to make an initiative like this all come together.

We hope we can work together to grow in years to come. 🏄‍♂️
