SOUTH AUCKLAND K’S MATTER - CAMBODIA 2026 🇰🇭💙

After raising almost $5000 last year for KidsCanNZ, it felt right within me to support children in my motherland and help break the poverty cycle in Cambodia. We’ve partnered with a cambodian NGO which provides education to rural children and gives resources / support for their families to ensure they can stay in school.

60% of children in Cambodia don’t finish primary school / have access to education. Something we can take for granted over here in the developed world.

I’m sure our efforts and dollars can really make a lasting impact and I trust Reach Siem Reap and their programmes to deliver on their objectives.

3 week solo Strava leaderboard challenge starting next Monday June 15 - more details to come.

SARC “TRADITIONAL” WEEK 58!

A SARC Traditional week is one where we repeat last years visit! Keen to make these fixtures in our calendar that make it just that bit more special. 🥰🥰

This one’s fun! It’ll be cold, maybe wet, bring trail shoes - not carbons lol or maybe carbons for the road part. We start from Duder car park and head up the hills, loop back to carpark - you can go toilet, change shoes, have water etc then whatever time remaining - run towards Maraetai beach and back to finish where we started after 90mins.

Watch out for p**p along the way, lots of animals around, respect the nature, don’t litter. Coffees / breakfast at Maraetai beach afterwards at 8am. Beautiful start to your Sunday! 🌄🌅🤩

Our run club got turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there
I’ll tell you how White and Wongs became SARC champs this year !

Innnn the heart of South Auckland, born and raised
Waiata Shores is where we spent most of our days
Chillin’ out, runnin’, pacing no fear
Clockin’ up the Ks in our New Balance gears
When a couple of teams who were up to no good
Started talkin’ smack in our neighbourhood
We got in one lil’ challenge, but we weren’t scared
“This trophy’s ours…” yeah, we came prepared!
