Today we celebrated our incredible junior players at our 2026 Junior Prizegiving, recognising the effort, improvement, commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship shown throughout the season.
From our youngest Year 1 players right through to our teenage combined grades, it has been fantastic to see so many of our players grow in confidence, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy being part of Southbridge Rugby.
A huge congratulations to all of our award recipients. ๐ Your hard work, commitment, improvement and contribution to your teams throughout the season have been fantastic to see. We are incredibly proud of you all! ๐๐ค
We also celebrated our 14 Millar Family Trophy nominees, recognising players who have demonstrated the qualities that make a great Southbridge player both on and off the field.
And a very special congratulations to our 2026 Millar Family Trophy winner, Jone โJuniorโ Manu Taufaga. ๐๐
While today was about celebrating individual achievements, rugby is always about more than one player. It is about teammates, coaches, managers, volunteers, parents, grandparents, siblings and everyone who gets behind our kids each week.
To our coaches and managers โ thank you for the time, energy and care you have given our junior teams this season.
To our families and supporters โ thank you for getting the kids to training, games and tournaments, cheering from the sidelines and supporting Southbridge Rugby.
And most importantly, to our junior players โ thank you for making the 2026 season such a memorable one. We are incredibly proud of every one of you.
