Righto Team, if you can help out, this is a great cause for the Jet Boating community. Please see details below, we can accept batteries at Callum’s place too, 9 Brook Street, Southbridge, just leave them by the car shed.

Old Batteries Wanted – Help Rebuild Hamilton Hut

We’re going to give this a crack and see just how many old batteries we can collect.

Instead of sending them to the dump or leaving them sitting around the shed, donate your old batteries to the Canterbury Branch. We’ll collect them up and cash them in through a local scrap dealer, with every dollar going towards the Hamilton Hut rebuild.

We’re looking for old:

Boat batteries

Car batteries

Truck batteries

Machinery batteries

If you’ve got a few lying around, or know someone with a workshop, farm, transport company or business that does, we’d really appreciate your help. Every battery makes a difference.

Drop off / pick up contacts by area:

Ashburton / Methven

Darfield / Malvern

Ross Kircher

Grant Allott

Alternatively, bring your old batteries along to any Canterbury JBNZ club event. One of our committee members will happily take them off your hands.

Every battery donated helps us get one step closer to rebuilding Hamilton Hut for future generations of jet boaters and all river users.

Thank you for your support.
