Huia Rugby Football Club Inc We welcome all to the Huia Rugby Club here in the heart of Motueka. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive community minded club.

Come & join one of our Junior or Senior teams. Huia Rugby Club was founded in 1901 and been a prominent sporting club in the Motueka and surrounding community; fielding rugby teams in most grades from U6 (midgets) to Division One (Senior A),including multiple netball teams. Huia continues to field Senior and Junior teams in rugby and netball. In recent times we have experienced good growth in our

junior levels. Our aim is to maintain a pathway which provides a natural progression for our Motueka High School students when they leave school.

🎟️ Ticket sales are now officially closed for the Huia 125th Jubilee Dinner. We’re sorry if you missed out on securing a ticket!
The celebrations don’t stop there though. Join us at the park on Saturday for a huge Huia Club Day, then head back to the club afterwards for a beverage or two and catch up with friends, teammates, and supporters as we celebrate 125 years of Huia Rugby together. 💚🖤🤍🏉

🏉 Huia & Kahurangi Draw This Week 🏉
It’s another busy week of rugby with a mix of junior night games and Saturday action.
Saturday kicks off with the Waimea Combined 1st XV taking on PlaceMakers MCC 1st XV, followed by our Kahurangi U15s against Nelson.
Our Huia Division 2 lads are at home with a later kick-off against a strong Collingwood side.
The rest of the Kahurangi whānau are on the road this week, heading to Stoke and Marlborough.

We’re down to the final few days, with Monday being your last opportunity to purchase tickets. Please note there will be no door sales available on Friday night due to catering requirements, so make sure you get in quick and don’t miss out on celebrating 125 years of Huia Rugby.

Here’s this week’s Huia and Kahurangi draws, and every single team is away from home!
The Huia Div 2 boys are off over the hill to take on Takaka in what promises to be a hard-fought contest. Our juniors are travelling far and wide, while Kahurangi are out for Riwaka Club Day.
Wherever our teams are playing, they’d love to see some supporters on the sidelines. So pack the car, grab a mate, and get out there to support the Huia and Kahurangi sides this weekend! 🦅🏉
