I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this season so successful!

To our athletes — congratulations on an incredible season. Your hard work, determination, and commitment have been amazing to watch, and you should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved.

To our parents — thank you for your ongoing support, encouragement, and stepping in to help us when needed!

And to our coaches — your dedication, passion, and the countless hours you volunteer for our athletes does not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do to support and guide our kids.

As a club, we continue to grow and strive each season. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to building on this momentum again next season.

This is our schedule for this afternoon, please bring plenty of water and snacks as we have the potential to run overtime!
We need MAXIMUM parent participation to make this work
One practice then one measured throw or jump. Running events will be a final heat.
We aim for this to be fun and efficient. All results we be recorded to help us determine Club Champ for each age group.
WE NEED.....
6 parents @ running events timing (bring cell phone in case short on stopwatches)
2 parents @ Discus - one to measure and one to retrieve
2 parents @ Shot put – one to measure and one to retrieve
2 parents @ Long Jump – one to rake, one to measure
High Jump will be manged by the coaches at the end of the session

To members of the Motueka Amateur Athletic Club,

You are invited to attend a Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Motueka Amateur Athletic Club, to be held on Monday 9 March at 5.00pm, upstairs at the Memorial Pavilion.

Purpose of the Meeting
This SGM has been called to meet the requirements of the new Incorporated Societies legislation in New Zealand. All incorporated societies must re-register under the updated Incorporated Societies Act. As part of this process, the Club must formally consider and approve an updated Constitution.

Business of the Meeting
Members will be asked to:
• Review and approve the Club’s updated Constitution (to be circulated one week prior to the meeting).

The proposed Constitution is based on a template approved by Athletics NZ and Athletics Tasman to ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Only minor amendments specific to club management are anticipated.

Members are expected to read the Constitution before the meeting. Any proposed amendments or questions should be submitted by email prior to the SGM so they can be considered in advance. Our intention is to approve the Constitution at this meeting, rather than debate amendments on the night.

These decisions are essential to ensure the Club remains compliant and able to operate effectively in the future.

Put all your hardwork and training to the test over Tasman Champs weekend!

🗓️ Saturday 28 Feb, start 2pm
🗓️ Sunday 1 Mar, start 9.30am

💵 Small charge of $2 per event, per child.

Athletes can enter up to four events each day, and Grade 9 are eligible to enter the 400m at this meet.

To be in the running to be age group Tasman Champ your child needs to have entered two previous interclub events.
