A huge thank you to our incredible volunteer lifeguards, coaches, officials, and members for everything you’ve given throughout the 2025–2026 patrol season. From patrol hours and rescues to training the next generation and supporting behind the scenes — it’s been a true team effort. 🙌

Your commitment to keeping our community and visitors safe makes a real difference, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. 🫶

Want to stay active over winter and learn epic surf lifesaving skills in a fun, fast-paced environment? Pool Rescue is indoor, team-based racing that includes obstacle swims, tube rescues, underwater challenges and more.

All levels welcome – Juniors, Seniors, and Masters.

🌊 Congratulations Luke Gillbanks & Amelie Pearson 🌊

We’re proud to share that Luke and Amelie have been named into Surf Life Saving New Zealand’s Junior Black Fins World Championships campaign squad. The final travelling team will be selected from this squad closer to the December Championships in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Selection recognises strong recent performances and places Luke and Amelie firmly in the mix as they continue working towards possible final selection. The coming months remain important, with further opportunities to impress selectors.

A fantastic achievement and an exciting step along the high performance pathway — we’re looking forward to supporting them on the journey ahead! 💙💛👏
