Sunday Rotorua Easter race 1

Easter Champs Sunday at Rotorua didn’t go to plan, but that’s racing. Race starting from the back of grid with a field of 27 cars managed to finish 21st. Race 2 after few tangles early on ended with a dnf after some assistance into the turn 1 wall. Car came out ok, but driver with sore neck and head so called it a night. Thanks to all supporters and sponsors, watch this space we may have 1 more run to finish the season. Videos to follow.

BOP Superstock Champs at Rotorua turned out to be action packed racing with a field of 27 cars. Not the best results, dnf race 1 and 3 and 21st in race 2. Showed some good speed and learned a bit more. Copped a bit of damage but all ready too go for night 2 at Rotorua for Easter Champs if the weather holds out.

Bay Superstock Rumble, looked like it was going to awesome nights racing with a 30 car field with a 3 wide starting grid. With a 1st race grid draw of 2. After a good start managed to hold near the front until getting pushed wide contacting some tangled cars dropped back the pack to then get spun in the back straight, which was where it ended with the left rear wheel gate pushed in against the tyre. With the always quick turn around at Baypark we got all repaired and clay removed, belted up for the sky to open up. Unfortunately to much rain to carry on and decided to use Sunday rain off date. Due to prior commitments we have decided to call it a weekend for us and won’t be running Sunday. Will add video from race 1 back the clay won again😔
