Avalon Tennis Club Avalon Tennis Club offers social and competitive tennis for junior, senior, midweek and interclub pl Midweek:

Organised tennis for men and women from 9.30am.

Senior Tennis:

Organised social tennis is played on Sunday afternoons from 2pm and Tuesday evenings from 6pm. Come along for a hit and enjoy a beverage and chat afterwards in the clubhouse. Delicious morning tea and lucky draw afterwards. $2 goes towards our social lunches during the year. Junior:

Junior coaching is included in the membership over the summer terms. Fun coaching on Saturday morn

ings 9-11am and matchplay on Thursdays 4-5.30pm. Competition:

Saturday Interclub - Saturday morning for juniors and Saturday afternoon for seniors. Sunday - mixed double competitions during the year.

Junior Prizegiving & End of Season Wrap-Up.
Last Saturday marked the close of a fantastic season across our junior coaching programmes, interclub teams, and Club Championships.

A huge congratulations to all our prize winners!

We’d also like to extend a sincere thank you to all the parents and caregivers for your ongoing support of our junior members throughout the season.

Special thanks to New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) and Total Pursuit for their valued contributions in making this season such a success.

Another successful Grand Slam was held today at Avalon Tennis Club. Some new faces and many veterans of the event played in humid conditions with some moisture thrown into the mix. Many thanks to all the raffle donations and to my 'village of helpers' making it a successful day both in preparations, BBQ, and food prep.

Jill was a life member of Avalon Tennis Club. While she loved tennis, she also enjoyed squash and golf, but those here at ATC club, who played with Jill are convinced tennis was her passion!
