Welcome to Maungaraki Tennis Club (MTC), a very social and established club, founded in 1973. The club has three hard courts located in Barberry Grove, Maungaraki, together with a large pavilion with modern showering and changing rooms, plus other indoor facilities such as a pool table & table tennis. We are a friendly tennis club with good modern facilities catering for all ages from pre school t

o very senior citizens - our oldest playing member is over 80! We have 3 flexipave floodlit courts which allow us to play evening leagues throughout the year. MTC is affiliated to Hutt Valley Tennis, and as such has access to the facilities at Mitchell Park in Lower Hutt. So much to ponder when making up the new Twilight roster.... but fun is guaranteed and dream teams will be made!
Spreading the word to potential new players to try this unbeatable club social tennis format!

Choose a regular night and be gifted a team. Play from 6pm against a different team each week. If you are unable to make every night - we have subs ready to step in. Focus is on 2-3 short matches of tennis with plenty of laughs and at the end of term celebrate with a social event.

Suitable for players returning to tennis after years of life distraction or beginning tennis as a new obsession.

Use the Book A Court App to select a booking timeframe, and a free court. It's that easy! Once your payment is made, you'll be emailed a unique code which you can then use to open the smart lock.

Pinehaven visited Maungaraki Tennis Club for our Annual Invitational (formally known as our Tennis Play Date).
What a vibe on and off court with great tennis - plenty of food - and a few Jokers appearing from the Pack.
Huge thanks to Mel and Richard for a great event - and to Paul and his Pinehaven crew for making their way up the mountain to see us.

Maungaraki will take good care of the Trophy for another year 💙🩵
