Sam & Blake not only won their races today but course records were matched and beaten! These guys absolutely smashed it in the Hunua Ranges today 👏👌

Sam Rout won the Marathon in a time of 4:03:19 breaking the course record by 26minutes!

Blake Schimanski won the 60k Ultra in 7:11:54 exactly matching Troy Fields course record from 2022!

Incredible running from both for their first ever Hunua Hillbilly!

No Dogs Permitted 🚫
We've had a few queries on this one, as it is a little confusing online.
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted on course or at the event site this weekend. We are based in the Upper Mangatawhiri Campground which prohibits dogs at all times.

📣 COMUPLSORY GEAR REMINDER
All participants are required to carry the compulsory gear for the full duration of their event, from start to finish.
Gear and footwear will be checked before you can register and collect your race number.
There will be no exceptions. No Gear - No Race.

The Hunua Ranges are currently under a Controlled Area Notice for protection against Kauri dieback disease, so please ensure all footwear, gear and vehicles entering the park this weekend are clean and free from any traces of soil.

Footwear will be checked on arrival at registration, and must be spotlessly clean before you are able to register for your event.
