Beautiful winters day to shoot at 600 yards on the Cashmore Range. Unfortunately I forgot to get the scores after getting stuck on wet grass, slight slope and front wheel drive cars, scores were good with light winds until the afternoon and then it started fishtailing. Iain May shot with us, travelling down from Whangarei Rifle Club to drop his ammo off for shipping to Bisley for F Class WLR Champs in August. Chris shot with his new jacket, trying hard to not get poo on it. 13 shooters enjoyed the day, we have 2 more shoots on the schedule, see how the weather goes.

10 shooters enjoyed some trying conditions, cool winds at 600 yards. 5 targets used with some testing going on the first 3 targets, no scores available. Winter is fast approaching, cool winds and no shorts or jandels on range. Next shoot is on Kings Birthday weekend, hopefully the weather will behave with not much rain.

Shooting today was over 500 yards, great conditions and some outstanding scores shot, 5th target up and running so a quick shooting day with 2-3 shooters per target. Dry enough to shoot 500 but any rain in the next 2 weeks will make range use interesting.

Big day on the range, bucketed down over night but clean skies to greet the shooters, unfortunately the ground was soaked and 400 yards was the only option. Another good turn out for the F Class Teams match, thanks to Derrick for organizing the match, we all got to shoot and trophy's presented. Again a lot of rain on the way home, luckily we had left the range, season is coming to a close quickly.

Easter Sunday shooting at 700 yards on the Cashmore Range, 20 shooters attended in overcast conditions. 5 targets were put up, have just purchased a couple of new shotmarker targets, unfortunately need a bit of calibrating so only 4 targets used. Grass has shot up over 2 weeks, we have had a bit of rain lately so well watered. Congratulations to Simon and Bruce for winning the Easter Eggs. Fortnights time is the Rewi Shield matches, all welcome.

16 shooters enjoyed sunny, warm conditions at the Cashmore Range today, shooting at 500 yards. Next shoot is Easter Sunday, some Easter egg prizes will be up for grabs. Paddock has been drilled and fertilized, bit of rain and will be interesting conditions.

14 shooters today at 600 yards, fine conditions with a bit of wind, strange wind causing a few stray shots. Next weekend is the South Auckland Open at the Otorohanga Range.

Overcast conditions today for shooters enjoying 700 yards, interesting winds with quick changes catching all out. Farmer has killed the grass of to resow with new grass in the next couple of weeks.
