Whanganui District Council are currently reviewing Freedom Camping Bylaw 2025 and want to clear up any confusion about the council’s roles and responsibilities. To do that, theyvpulled together some key facts about freedom camping to help build understanding in the community.

Due to Visa delays, Tina Turley from Canada can not make Campfest this year. That has given local Whanganui band, BB and the Bullets the chance to perform in that time slot.

Organized by the volunteers of All Points Camping NZ Camping Club this is an affordable inclusive, family, camping event covering the whole spectrum of NZ campers.
Whether you have a tent, campervan, caravan, bus, housetruck, teardrop camper or 4WD you are welcome to join with the 3rd annual event in the lower North Island.
