Wai Splash Community Pool is an indoor heated swimming complex in Dannevirke. We provide lessons from 6months to adults.

Wai Splash complex comprises of a 25m Lane Swimming pool that is heated to 27.5degrees. It also has a 15m toddler pool and beach area for little toddlers which is heated to 32degrees. The pool complex can be hired after hours. You can also have birthday party's here and a BQQ is available if required. Aqua aerobics classes are run during the week see website for timetable

Splash of the Titans 2026

Over the next couple of days, we’ll be introducing some of the awesome people taking on our Splash of the Titans 8-Week Spring Challenge!

They’ll be tackling 24 swims, 9 Titan Challenges and 8 weeks of consistency — all with their own reasons for jumping in.

🏊‍♀️ LANE & FACILITY AVAILABILITY 💦

The weather has been crazy these past few weeks! 🌦️ It’s fantastic to see so many of our swimmers continuing to come along and stay consistent. 💙

Please take a moment to check our availability, as we have a few things happening this weekend:

👶 FRIDAY | 9AM–11AM – Under 5’s Morning Splash
A dedicated, quieter time for parents, babies and young children to come along, have a splash, meet new people and enjoy the pool together. 💦👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

🛠️ FRIDAY | From 12PM – Splash Pad CLOSED
The splash pad will be closed from 12PM Friday until 8:30AM Saturday for maintenance.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. 💙

🏊 SATURDAY | 1PM–3PM – Complex Booking
We have a complex booking during this time, so the facility will be closed. Please plan your visit accordingly.

🎂 SUNDAY – Birthday Bookings
🎉 10AM–12PM: Learner Pool
🎉 1PM–3PM: Big Pool

The pools and splash pad will still be available for public use during these times, but please be aware that the facility may be busier than usual.

Update: Learner pool is back at its normal operating temp - we are open until 5pm today then closed for a private booking! We can’t wait to see you!

CANCELLED FOR TODAY! 😩

Unfortunately we have encountered a heating issue over night and lost a few degrees in our learner pool - we recommend if you can postpone your visit if you were planning to visit today!

We are so sorry we hope to see you back soon!

The school holidays will be here before we know it, and we’re getting ready for another action-packed Wai Splash School Holiday Programme! 💦🎉

🙋‍♀️ PARENTS & CAREGIVERS
We’re now seeking registrations for children wanting to join us these school holidays. If you’re looking for a fun, active and social place for the kids to spend their break, we’d love to have them!

🎨🏀🧁 LOCAL PROVIDERS – WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
We’re also looking to mix things up - Do you run an activity, business or service that could come along and provide something fun for a group of kids?

We’re open to all sorts of ideas — sports, crafts, cooking, dance, fitness, animals, science, outdoor activities, cultural experiences, creative workshops… or something completely different!

🎉 Saturday: We have a couple of birthday parties happening after our swim school lessons, so the pool will be busier at times.

🏊 Sunday: The learner pool is booked from 10:30am – 12:30pm.
