Sad day on the farm 😢 it was time to say farewell to two beautiful old souls, Neil and Magni, two of my last SPCA adoptions ❤️‍🩹
🐴Neil made it to 26 but suffered from DSLD which has progressively worsened. Grateful to have given him a nice last 5 years where he especially bonded with Holly and Rudy.
My favourite memory was the first time I let him out onto the grass training track (to graze). He went straight into racehorse mode and flatout paced the whole 800m. He got to the end and looked very pleased with himself, still got it!
🦙Magni is estimated to be 15 years, living with me for the last 8 years brightening my days with his luscious eye lashes and big personality!
My favourite memory was feeding him apple slices out of the kitchen window 💗
They both had a beautifully peaceful farewell with the sun on their backs, full bellies and surrounded by friends 💕
