New Zealand wbcnewzealand Muay Thai welterweight champion Kyrie Choudhury is up next on the prestigious Kneesoffury show in Hamilton October 3rd.

He’s moving up to 68kg, and fighting under K1 kickboxing rules, with no easy task in front of him in Ashton Bartlett from House of Pain gym.

It’s Knees of Fury 100th show and it is a massive card, so grab a ticket, come support Kyrie and enjoy a big night of fights.

Grand Master Phillip Lam is *the* pioneer of Muay Thai in NZ. He founded Leegar in 1975, taught Kung Fu, and bought Thai coaches here, starting the sport here. His fighters opened their own gyms, and their students in turn opened their own, and our gym is part of this proud lineage.

He is celebrating his 80th birthday and retiring from 50 years of promoting on Sept 6th.

We have Duang Hongin drawing from hundreds of fights experience, teaching authentic every Friday at 5pm and Saturday at 9am. Duang also teaches our morning classes Monday and Wednesdays at 6:30am, and is available for PTS.
